50s style dress

this is me in a dress that i designed at made at tafe's end of year fashion parade last year. the dress was made out of cotton, its fully lined with a nylon net tulle. theres no boning, i made it fitted so it would stay up, however i've lost a bit of weight now so it slides. it took me about 6 weeks to make, however i was only working on it during one lesson a week, and 3 of those lessons were spent getting the pattern right.
